OUR MISSION

Rebuild LA S.A.F.E. is a grassroots community-led campaign advocating for a secure, affordable, fast, and electric rebuild for communities devastated by the Palisades and Eaton fires. We believe recovery must not only replace what was lost—but build toward a stronger, safer, and more sustainable future.

WHY THIS MATTERS

Los Angeles just experienced one of the worst fire disasters in its history:

• Over 10,000 homes destroyed

• $150–$250 billion in estimated damages

• Thousands of families displaced and livelihoods lost

This moment demands more than a return to the status quo. It’s an opportunity to rethink how we rebuild—because rebuilding with outdated fossil fuel systems like methane gas means locking families into hazardous and expensive infrastructure for decades to come.

We’re calling on city and state leaders to commit to a recovery that is:

With the 2028 Olympics on the horizon, Los Angeles has a chance to lead by example—showing the world what climate-resilient recovery looks like.

OUR CALL TO ACTION

We’re urging elected officials to reject a “business as usual” rebuild. It's too slow, too costly, and too dangerous for the future we want to live in. Instead, we're demanding a bold, forward-looking investment in an all-electric rebuild that puts people’s health, safety, and future first.
